Terms of Service for ClockIt

1. Description of Service

ClockIt is a personal productivity and tracking tool designed to help users log shifts, estimate earnings, and generate timesheet exports. ClockIt is not a certified payroll provider, an accounting service, or a financial advisor. All calculations, projections, and exports generated by the Service are estimates based solely on the data you input or scan.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

We offer premium features through "ClockIt Pro," available via auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly or annually).

• App Store Purchases: If you subscribe via the Apple App Store, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account Settings.
• Web Purchases: If you subscribe via our website, payments are processed securely by our third-party billing providers.
• Refunds: All App Store refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to their policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

3. User Accounts and Security

To use certain features, you must create an account (e.g., via Apple Sign-In). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use and AI Features

Our Service includes an "AI Rota Scanner" that processes images of your schedule to populate your calendar. You agree to use this feature strictly for your own personal shift tracking. You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, offensive, or malicious images.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overwhelm our AI infrastructure or databases.
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent or falsified timesheets to deceive employers.

5. Limitation of Liability (The "Not Payroll" Clause)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClockIt and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of wages, employment disputes, or lost profits resulting from your use of the Service.

You acknowledge that ClockIt's calculations are estimates. It is your sole responsibility to verify your hours, breaks, and wages with your employer. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-scanned rotas or wage calculations.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes within the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
