Welcome to ClockIt: Shift & Wage Tracker ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use our mobile application and website (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with the best experience, we collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you sign up (e.g., via Apple Sign-In), we collect your email address and a unique user ID to authenticate your account securely.
Financial & Work Data: We store the shift times, hourly wages, and earnings goals you input so you can track your wages and generate timesheets.
Camera & Photo Library Data: If you use the AI Rota Scanner, we request access to your device's camera or photo library. The photos you submit are processed solely to extract shift data and populate your calendar.
Subscription Data: If you upgrade to ClockIt Pro, your payment is processed securely by Apple or our web-billing provider (RevenueCat/Stripe). We do not collect or store your actual credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to operate and improve the Service:

To calculate your wages, track your shifts, and generate exportable PDF/CSV timesheets.
To authenticate your secure login and maintain your account state across devices.
To process your subscription status and unlock premium features.
To process schedule images via our AI partners to automate your data entry.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the essential third-party infrastructure providers that make this app work:

Supabase: Used for secure database hosting and user authentication.
RevenueCat: Used to securely manage App Store and web subscriptions.
AI Processing Partners: Images uploaded via the AI Rota Scanner are sent securely to our AI providers strictly for the purpose of extracting text/schedule data. These images are not used to train public AI models.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is tied to your account. You can request to delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the iOS app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Once initiated, your personal data, shifts, and credentials will be permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
